My Journey of Recovery and Empowerment
I started working out at 17, but it was for all the wrong reasons. I had an eating disorder, doing hours of cardio and eating almost nothing. After a couple of years, I met my husband, who is also a trainer. He helped me with my relationship with food and workouts, and I slowly started to recover. With time, I accepted to stop focusing only on my weight on the scale and how my clothes fit. I decreased my cardio, focused more on muscle training, and slowly started to gain more muscle mass.
After a couple of years, I really developed a passion for fitness—for all the information about eating enough, eating well, and fueling my body. It was so important for me and my recovery from my eating disorder. So, I did some certifications and started working as a personal trainer in the same gym as my husband. Everything went well and I grew my business very fast. It's been almost 3 years since I started, and I am so grateful to be able to live from my passion and also to be able to work and help people, especially women, with their goals—to lose weight, to take care of their health, and to help some of them with their relationship with food and eating disorders. I know how hard it is to live with this. And I am grateful to share my experience with these women and to help and accompany them in their process.
My Mantra: One day at a time. One step at a time.
