My Fitness Story & Journey

When I was younger, I was overweight and had very bad body image issues. I didn't know how to overcome these feelings until I decided to try running in high school. After that first run, something changed me. I felt so great and wanted to keep doing it over and over. That's when I realized that fitness was going to help me mentally and physically be the best version of myself.

I started running 3-4 times a week and saw the weight coming off. It felt so good to finally see results, but I knew I needed to build more muscle. That's when my love for weight lifting started. I joined a gym for the first time in college and did some workouts that I had seen online from fitness influencers. This changed the game for me and I became totally in love with lifting weights. Fast forward years later, I'm now in my 20s and in the best shape I've ever been in. My confidence and self-esteem have skyrocketed and I can finally say I love my body.

Age 27

Cancer Diagnosis

At 27, I was diagnosed with cancer, a moment that felt like my whole world came crashing down. I feared I would never be able to lift weights or workout again.

Today

Strength Through Adversity

I am now in active treatment for cancer and still going to the gym, running, and sprinting. My years of training are helping me on this journey, and it's my goal to inspire other cancer patients to stay active.

My Philosophy

My approach to fitness and life, from body image to mental strength

Body Image & Self-Love

I believe in using fitness not only for physical results but for mental and emotional well-being. My journey is about becoming the best version of myself and finally loving my body.

Find Your Passion

My fitness journey began with running, which led to a love for weightlifting. I advocate for finding the activity that feels right for you and makes you feel great.

Mental Clarity

Working out helps me mentally and clears my mind of anxiety and depression. It's an essential part of my self-care routine, especially during my cancer journey.

Strength Through Sickness

My goal is to show other people going through cancer that they can still workout and be active, even if it looks different than before. Cancer has made me realize just how strong I am, both physically and mentally.
