My Fitness Story & Journey

I started my weight loss journey in 2023 when I weighed 250lbs. After reaching a low of 125-132lbs I found bodybuilding, and it immediately changed the course of my journey. I started learning about macros, cardio, and weight training, and how they affect your body.

After I lost the weight my body had no shape. I like to call it my "wet noodle phase". I learned this isn't the right way to lose weight and took the time to learn the basics in the gym with a coach. He taught me to squat, deadlift, bench, and other major and minor exercises.

I eventually moved forward and started training on my own, writing my own meals based on macros to build strength and size. For years, I built muscle with the intention of competing one day. I recently finished a mini cut to see how I would do in the Wellness division, and my coach and I decided to head into another growing season before the possibility of a debut show.

My Journey Through Fitness & Life

A journey of weight loss, overcoming health issues, and finding a new passion

Early 20s

Health Scare

I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic with high blood pressure and on the cusp of high cholesterol.

2023

Starting the Journey

I started my weight loss journey at 250lbs, initially with just cardio.

After Weight Loss

Discovering Bodybuilding

I realized cardio alone was not the answer, and I found bodybuilding. I hired a coach and learned the basics of lifting and nutrition to add shape.

Today

Healthy & Mentally Strong

At 30 years old, my A1C levels are normal, my blood pressure is stable, and my cholesterol is fixed. The gym helped me overcome PTSD from my time in the military and saved me from being stuck inside my home.

Future

Future Goals

I hope to successfully help other women reach their fitness goals in a healthy way that fits into their lifestyles. I also hope to one day compete for a wellness pro card in the IFBB.

My Philosophy

My approach to fitness and life, from body image to mental strength

Weight Loss & Bodybuilding

I believe in taking a slow and steady growth approach to fitness, learning the basics of macros, cardio, and weight training to achieve your goals effectively.

Cardio and Nutrition

My journey taught me that while cardio can help with weight loss, it's not the complete answer. Proper nutrition and weight training are crucial for building muscle and getting the shape you want.

Mental Health

The gym saved me from being stuck inside my home due to PTSD. I believe fitness is a powerful tool for mental health, helping to clear the mind and provide a safe space.

Future Aspirations

I'm focused on a future in fitness, with goals to help other women achieve their goals and to compete for a wellness pro card in the IFBB.
