Fitness has been an integral part of my life from an early age. As a child, I was always drawn to athleticism and participated in multiple sports throughout my high school years. Despite initially pursuing a career in dental hygiene, my passion for fitness never waned, leading me to also work as a personal trainer on the side. It didn't take long for me to realize that my true calling lay in guiding others on their fitness journeys, prompting me to make the bold decision to leave dental hygiene behind and fully dedicate myself to personal training and health coaching.

An interesting facet of my journey is my 25-year battle with lupus. In 2017, a severe flare-up of the disease served as a catalyst for profound change in my life. Determined not to let lupus dictate my fate, I embarked on a journey of dietary transformation, adopting a ketogenic diet, and delving into the practice of yoga. Miraculously, within just six months, my lupus went into remission—a state it has maintained for nearly seven years.

Fuelled by my passion for knowledge and my unwavering commitment to helping others, I pursued advanced training in yoga, completing a rigorous 500-hour teacher training program. However, my thirst for learning in the realm of fitness was insatiable, leading me to seize the opportunity to obtain my reformer Pilates certification. Embracing this new fitness modality wholeheartedly, I attained my comprehensive Pilates certification through Balanced Body, along with additional certifications from Club Pilates bridge training, and National Pilates Certification. With aspirations of further mastery in Pilates instruction, I am eager to continue my education and ultimately become a master instructor in this discipline.

In addition to my expertise in Pilates, I hold numerous certifications in various fitness formats, including cycle, TRX, kickboxing, HIIT, body sculpting, aqua fitness, and more. Recognizing the importance of holistic well-being, I have also obtained certifications as a health coach, completed coursework in the Science of Wellbeing at Yale University, and attained the status of Reiki Master.

Despite the achievements I've already attained, my journey is far from over. I am deeply passionate about lifelong learning and continuously seek to expand my knowledge base, integrating new insights and practices not only into my own life but also into the lives of my members and clients. For me, the pursuit of excellence in fitness and wellness is not just a profession—it's a calling, and one that I am committed to embracing fully as I continue to evolve and grow along my journey.
