I started working out when I was 19 years old. At that time, I was a dancer. And being a dancer, I had muscular legs and not a very muscular upper body. I wanted to change that and began training. I started small and with little knowledge, so I had a personal trainer teach me the basics.
From there I trained on my own, but have had several trainers over the years. Through the years and from my knowledge, I trained others. It has been 36 years since I started training and I would say that I am in the best shape of my life! I would say my journey had evolved and is going fantastic! Even better then I ever thought! Who knew?!
Fitness has influenced every aspect of my life. It has taught me that hard work equals success. I work hard in my marriage, myself and with other relationships. I also work hard at any other work load and learn how to push through. It has taught me healthy habits that I have passed down to my kids. Healthy habits include exercise, eating right and taking care of my whole health. Now I am looking to keep up with my fitness and training.
I love learning new fitness ideas from others. Being healthy and fit is a continuous journey so watching and learning from others helps keep me on my toes. I am always tweaking my training to keep myself on my toes and to keep growing!
