I started working out about 15 years ago. After my second child I thought I needed to get in shape. At the time I was smoking cigarettes, blah those are so nasty now.
I got started out at gym nearby and watched what other people were doing so I started doing what they were doing. I ended up becoming a boxing teacher and substituted some classes for other trainers. the past few years I worked on 75 Hard and I wanted something more challenging.
I was taking classes at the gym and doing 75 Hard at the beginning of the year. Last year I made the decision to get in the world of bodybuilding. I had no clue of what it consisted of nor did I realize the time and effort it took to get there. I knew I wanted a challenge this year and went for it. I talked to my coach in September and we talked about where my protein was at.
I had no clue of where that was because I definitely didn’t eat enough to know. He had told me I needed to be at 135. The beginning of the year came and decided it was time to start. He gave me my meal plan and as soon as I looked at it I thought I was going to puke because I had never eaten this much food before. Now here I am 3 weeks out before my competition and I absolutely love food now.
I never knew how much it took to build the muscles. I am all in it now and looking forward to my journey of bodybuilding.
