When I was in 5th grade, I stumbled upon an Abercrombie and Fitch catalog at home. The guys in that catalog had shredded abs and amazing muscle definition, and I was completely captivated. I knew right then and there that I wanted to look like that, no matter what it took. So, I started with basic calisthenics, and by the time I was in 8th grade, I was sneaking off to the country club to lift weights in secret, fearing my parents might not approve.
That summer, when I was 13, my mom noticed my biceps were bigger. I laughed and confessed that I had been lifting weights. To my surprise, she laughed too and got me my first gym membership. From then on, she would pick me up from school and drop me off at the gym. My grandfather, who was 90 at the time, would work out twice a day and take me home after our sessions. This routine solidified my commitment to fitness, and I’ve been consistent for 17 years now.
After graduating college, I became a certified personal trainer and have been training clients ever since. Fitness has had such a positive impact on my life, giving me confidence in how I look and what I’ve achieved. Receiving compliments and hearing that I inspire others is both a gift and a blessing. Fitness has transformed me into a more positive and energetic person because it always lifts my mood and gives me energy.
Looking ahead, my goals include entering a bodybuilding show one day. More importantly, I aim to maintain a great physique, with decent size while staying lean. I also plan to continue training clients and helping them achieve their dream physiques for as long as I can. Fitness is more than just a lifestyle; it’s my passion and my way of making a difference in the world.
