Sunshine Coast, Australia
My fitness journey began at the age of 15, fueled by a desire to break away from the basketball court and try my hand at Australian rules football (AFL). Despite starting as a skinny basketball player, I quickly found myself drawn to AFL, eventually earning a spot on my hometown's rep team on the Sunshine Coast. Within a year, I made it to the Brisbane Lions academy and proudly represented Queensland in the Australian national championships.
Recognizing that athleticism didn't come naturally to me, I knew I had to hit the weights if I wanted to succeed in AFL. From ages 16 to 18, I immersed myself in self-education, devouring every nugget of knowledge on nutrition, training, and recovery that I could find on YouTube. This dedication bore fruit when I attended a state combine and exceeded all expectations. I achieved a standing vertical jump of 35 inches, tying the AFL national combine record. Additionally, my running vertical jump of 38.5 inches and 20-meter sprint time of 2.84 seconds ranked among the top 10 all-time records.
These accomplishments were a testament to the power of hard work, unwavering commitment, and relentless pursuit of clear goals. They instilled in me a confidence that no one could take away. Eager to share this transformative experience with others, I began creating content centered around athletic training and overall fitness. If even one person finds inspiration in my videos to chase their dreams or pursue a specific goal, then I consider it my contribution to making the world a better place.
