"I began weightlifting in September of 2020. Turning 42 in the midst of a global pandemic was the perfect opportunity to begin a new hobby. It's turned into so much more! I can't imagine life without going to the gym six days a week. Lifting has become one of the most beneficial and positive experiences I have ever added in my life. It's not just about fitness, it's a wellness journey! Working to be a better version of myself and role model for my daughter. I feel healthier and stronger than when I was in my twenties! My aching knees and hips are no more and I'm firm in all the right places. Weightlifting has also been incredible for my mental outlook on life. It's increased my confidence, not only about my body, but being a woman. Growing and improving myself from the inside out is what 2021 is all about for me. I can't wait to see where my commitment and hard work take me this year!

I have been a fulltime volunteer and philanthropist the past decade. Working with the local school system and superintendents office, coaching cheer, leading a Girl Scout Troop, holding Board of Directors positions and heading the PTO as President. Outside of that I have assisted in organizing Galas, fundraising events, leading local charity drives and volunteering for numerous not-for-profits. Helping others is my passion and I hope my fitness journey inspires! We are never too old to become the best version of ourselves!"
