MARK ANTHONY CAGE

Sherman Oaks, CA

Living in Sherman Oaks, California for the past 22 years, I’ve had the unique opportunity to wear multiple hats—actor, elite personal training coach, nutrition specialist, and even a physical therapy expert. But my story in fitness goes back much further than my time in Hollywood. It’s rooted in early mornings, family values, and a drive that has shaped not just my career but my entire life.

My fitness journey began with my father. He was my first role model in strength, discipline, and perseverance. At 5 a.m., I would watch him train, mimicking his every move. He wasn’t just any regular guy working out—his military background was evident in every rep he did. He was a high-ranking officer, training soldiers on how to handle automatic weapons until an accident left him with shrapnel in his face, which led to his honorable discharge. His post-military life was no less intense—he owned a 6,500-acre ranch in South Texas and raised my brother and me to be great cattle ranchers. The work ethic and mental toughness I learned on that ranch became the backbone of my fitness philosophy.

Fitness, for me, is about more than just aesthetics—it’s about shaping people’s lives, giving them confidence, longevity, and a sense of empowerment. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including Will Yun Lee, Michael Jai White, and director Gavin O’Connor. I’ve also trained elite athletes like 8x Olympic medalist Apolo Ohno and the legendary 365-0 jiu-jitsu world champion, Rigan Machado, who trains celebrities for action films. Helping them reach their goals, whether it’s for an action movie or a competition, is what keeps me going.

In the past two years alone, I’ve added some personal achievements to my résumé, winning 9 first-place titles in NPC Men's Physique competitions. Competing has been an exhilarating experience and a testament to the level of dedication and discipline I preach to my clients. But as much as I enjoy competing, my true passion lies in coaching. I specialize in 15 different styles of training, including Muay Thai kickboxing, boxing, corrective exercise, and trigger point sports medicine. It’s a holistic approach to fitness that I’ve developed over years of studying the human body and movement.

My goal isn’t just to train celebrities and athletes, though. I’m focused on providing fitness and health solutions to the world at large. That’s why I launched my High Performer Body Exclusive Training App—to bring the same elite training that I’ve given to A-list clients and Olympians to anyone who wants to change their life. The app offers personalized training programs that focus on strength, mobility, nutrition, and overall health. It’s not just about getting in shape; it’s about creating a sustainable, healthy lifestyle that people can maintain long-term.

Fitness has positively impacted every aspect of my life. It’s been my foundation, guiding me through personal challenges, professional hurdles, and everything in between. The best part? I’m just getting started. There’s so much more I want to do, from expanding my app’s reach to continuing to mentor people who are ready for a transformation. My future goal is simple: to keep spreading the message of health and fitness worldwide, using my knowledge, experience, and passion to change lives.

No matter where you are in your fitness journey, remember that it’s never too late to start. Whether you’re training for a role in an action movie or just looking to build confidence and longevity in your everyday life, I’m here to help you achieve that. Let’s get stronger, together.
