When I was growing up,I was overweight.I always was struggled with my body image.I was never satisfied with the person I saw in the mirror.
My Fitness journey started when I was 14 years old.I was amazed by action heroes as Arnold Schwarzenegger,Sylvester Stallone or Jean-Claude Van Damme and always wanted to be one.
I started exercising at home with two 8 kg dumbbells. I did basic exercises as push-ups, squats, biceps curl or dips. When I turned 16, I started working out in the gym.
It was 1988-89 and there was no Internet. I drew all my knowledge from older friends and magazines Muscle and Fitness. I made lot of mistakes.
For many years I learned as much as I could about the training, but I never took the importance of nutrition. It was my biggest mistake!!!
My bodyweight jumped up to 115kg.
I was strong, but my body looked more like body of powerlifter.
I decided to take my training, nutrition a lot more serious. I have changes my dieting, training and started training 5-6 days per week spending up 90 minutes in the gym. I also started doing cardio training. I lost 20kg during the year. I felt much better and also looked better. I started thinking about stepping on the stage bodybuilding show. I started competing in Natural
Bodybuilding Federation in 2011.Where I took nice third place behind the advanced competitors. They were medalist from World Championships. I was so fascinated by it, that I competed 10 following season. I fall in love!
I know is it hard, but I love this process when your body changes.
I'm loving my Fitness journey. I hope my best years are still ahead of me.
