My fitness journey began as a chunky kid in a world of swans. I was the ugly duckling surrounded by graceful peers, but that story has a transformative ending. The details of my journey are captured in my bio, which you can find here.

There are some interesting facets to my life that I am proud to share. For instance, I've saved five lives—a testament to the value I place on health and well-being. Another significant moment was the birth of my daughter, Niah. I meditated for nine and a half hours, giving birth without any drugs for either of us. This profound experience reaffirmed my belief in the power of mental and physical strength.

Niah has been a source of inspiration in many ways. After almost losing her to an accident when she was five, I wrote a children’s book in her honor titled “Niah’s Magic.” Today, she is not only healthy and happy but also a triathlete. You can check out the book here.

For over two decades, I have been a business owner and a dedicated instructor. As I continue to evolve in my career, I have set several ambitious goals for this year:

  1. Win My Fifth Bikini Competition: I am preparing to compete in September 2024, aiming to secure my fifth title.
  2. Sell Out My Relax and Rejuvenate Wellness Retreat: This event in Puerto Vallarta promises to be a transformative experience. You can find more details here.
  3. Publish My Second Book in the “Niah’s Magic” Series: The success of the first book has motivated me to continue this journey, sharing more of Niah’s magical story.
  4. Maintain a Healthy Balance: Balancing my roles as a wife, mom, businesswoman, and friend is a constant endeavor. Staying true to myself while nurturing these relationships is a priority.
  5. Expand My At-Home Workout Program, Bootylates: I created Bootylates to help people improve their health safely and inexpensively. This program is designed for all ages and fitness levels, ensuring that no one feels intimidated about working out.

The journey from being that "ugly duckling" to where I am now has been filled with challenges and triumphs. Each step has taught me invaluable lessons about resilience, self-love, and the power of a determined mindset. As I continue to grow and set new goals, my mission remains clear: to inspire and empower others to lead healthier, happier lives.
