"I have been involved in fitness since I could walk. I remember my Mom threw me into gymnastics. Fast forward to a few years ago, and I wasn't in the best shape of my life anymore. I ran and lifted here and there but I wasn't at my max. Then I couldn't walk one day. I found out I had DDD. I took to therapy immediately but gained about 35lbs or so. After I recovered, I then found out I was pregnant. It was disheartening to know I was pregnant with my first child and my body was not where I wanted it to be. But, after having my daughter, I realized I had to change. I wanted to live, and it wasn't about me anymore. It was about living for her too. I wanted to set an example. It's not about what you leave behind for your children but about what you leave in them. I want to show my daughter what hard work looks like. So right now, I am doing just that. I am a work in progress and will be till the day I die. I don’t believe that greatness can be achieved overnight. I believe that in order to do anything good enough, you have to remain consistent. My goal is to stay consistent for myself and my daughter ,because she’s watching me now. She is the reason. She is my why. This is why I created my brand Lifting You. Someone once told me that the reason why children want to be carried is so that they can see the world from your eyes. They want to see your perspective. I want to show her the world. So I’m working on building it for her. Lifting her up and everyone I can around me while involving them in fitness and a healthy mindset, day in and day out!"
