"The last 2.5 years have been a game-changer for me.

I found myself depressed, not caring about myself but happen to find some friends who help me understand that taking care of one-self is important.
As a 2019 new year resolution, I decided to just focus on taking care of myself and forget about how I felt, during that time I learned that one feels good as a result of one's actions and not the other way around.
Don't wait until you feel good to do something, feel good because you did something.

So what did I do to make a difference? I started working out 5 to 7 days a week, there are some months in which I only take one day off.
I stopped listening to people's opinions and started focusing more on how my body feels and how much progress I make.

I was inspired by people I follow on Instagram, I remember asking some of the people who have the best physic how often they train, one of them even told me there is no day off "Gym is my playground" so I made a playground out of my workout.

I've seen people lose lots of weight through hard work and dedication, I'm glad I use Instagram to track my progress so I can also be the one influencing other people at some point.

Fitness has changed me, people look at me differently, I feel more confident, healthier, more positive.

I'm not sure how much weight I've lost because I've also been gaining muscle but all I know is that I have continued to lose weight for the last 2.5 years consistently.

Today, I'm about 220 lbs, still making progress at the gym, still walking to increase calorie deficit, still moving forward.

My current goal is to get down to about 10% body fat."
