"Ever since I was a little girl, my parents placed my brother and I in sports which was the best thing they could have ever done. From a young age, being active is something that was just normal to me. I played softball, soccer, volleyball, and then I decided to run cross country and track. I ran all throughout high school, and I also ran on the collegiate level all four years of college. Running is really all I knew how to do on my own as a workout, and I was too afraid to weight train because in my mind, I thought it would make me too "bulky"

After college I joined the military, and one of my friends that I met through training loved to weight train and she looked amazing. She really changed my perspective on strength training. Once I came back home from military training in the summer of 2020, I got a gym membership and started going to the gym and lifting consistently while also maintaining my cardio and a balanced diet. I saw how much my body transformed, and I've never been so content and confident in my own body than I do now. No matter how good or bad my day is, I know that going to the gym will always make things better. It is my safe haven... my happy place. My goal is to emphasize how important it is to workout and live a healthy lifestyle, but I also want to show others, especially women that lifting weights will not make you look bulky, if anything it will make you look SO toned.. literally everywhere! If someone wouldn't have changed my perspective on that, I wouldn't be as happy and content as I am right now.

The process isn't always easy, but it is 100% worth it.

Put in the effort, be disciplined, and be CONSISTENT. If you do these three things, you will see those results. I guarantee it."
